i was very excited to begin to use my new washer. First I was disappointed to discover that I had to go on line to read the instruction manual. When I tried to access the manual I hit a dead end. So I gave up on that. I have also found that the machine which does a pretty good job of cleaning clothes takes so long to do a load. Sometimes I feel that I could go down to the river and beat the clothing on rocks faster Secondly there are simple things I would like to do with the machine....like spin out a load of wet clothes that I have had soaking somewhere else. It takes so long to just spin out Maybe I am just too old for new fangled machines. I certainly would like something easier to use---and with accessible instructions

Super quiet and effecient

Love this washing machine 5/3/2023

I was skeptical about this washer as I always prefer center agitators. I have had washers before without the agitator and the clothes were a tangled mess and not enough water was used. This washer is amazing - clothes do not tangle they are washed and rinsed perfectly and the washer is very quiet. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you need a new washer.

Does not even get all the clothes wet

I have had this impeller LG wash machine for 1-1/2 years now. I hate it. It uses less water which is good but there are areas were the close are still dry when I take them out. Others have mentioned this too. I feel the impeller could work faster longer. I got the impeller because I thought the impeller would be more gentle than the agitator but it barely moves. I have to stop it and have swish the clothes myself. I have the side load at our other home and it works much better by going around. Not happy. Would never buy again

Excellent investment from a mom of too many

Ive had this machine for going on three years now. Its been pretty stellar I have a large family and this gets USED HARD. Ive had one incident wear the motor burnt up because a teenager did their laundry and didnt empty their change pocket. Pennies and dimes are this washing machines kryptonite. However it was completely under warranty and was fixed quickly. So be wary This is not to launder monies lol I made a funny. I have thoroughly cleaned it several times pretty easily as I do want to protect my investment. All around GREAT purchase.

Get out of balance easily

10 months owning this washer and Im still baffled even though I had an impeller type washer before this one. Ruining some of our clothing because water level so so low-then another load might have water all the way up to top. I totally understand how this works with the weight of the load determining the water level but this washer is nuts In the beginning Customer Service Rep couldnt even explain why certain cycles were acting the way they were. Then a month ago I had a LG service tech check why theres a squeaking noise when spin first starts and when it slows down from a spin. He never figured it out. He said he would write up a report and LG would get back to me. NOTHING Stopped right there Another month and a half and my Warranty will expire-Spending big bucks on this washer and Im not happy.

We bought this washing machine thinking it was a good deal and overall a good product boy we were wrong. First of all the product warranty is a joke. Most of it is not covered under it. Since the day we bought it there was a constant swamp smell to it. We have used white vinegar special cleaning product for it as well as mentally drained the water after every load and yet they still does not help. Am I opinion there pump thats supposed to take the water away doesnt work very well. I highly dont recommend purchasing this.

I bought the washer 9/2021. Had problems from the beginning. Lowes wouldnt do anything. I couldnt find a repair man in my area. Its be a headache from the beginning. I finally got someone that I knew to look at it and he fixed it. Well a few months ago it started to make a loud noise. I just quit using it. The warranty has run out. Our machine stopped working.

Machine stopped working. Spoke with LG and AE Repair service. They came in 5 days but told us the drain pump had to be replaced and they had to order that part. Part was delivered the following week but AE said the soonest they could install it would be more than 2 weeks later. In total it will be almost a month w/o a washer Hopefully not longer. We are not happy with LGs repair arrangement with the LG extended maintenance policy we bought.

This washer stopped working after just 3 years of normal use. Out of warranty repair costs through LG are too high. Will avoid purchasing LG washers in the future.

I am 100 satisfied with my LG washing machine and you will be too. It gets clothes the cleanest and this machine is so quiet that you do even know that it is on. I like the function that you can add extra water for large loads. The clothes smell so fresh and clean. I love this LG washing machine so much that my sister just bought the same machine.

I purchased the LG WT7100CW washer in April 2020 based on the Consumer Reports ratings. At first I was very happy with this washer. After about 1 year of course after the warranty expired I started having some trouble with the washer not starting. I contacted LG and they instructed me to do what is called the hard reset. It did get the washer to start. After that initial phone call the washer did not start again a few more times...I did what they originally told me and it would restart until recently. The washer WILL NOT START. I called LG and they went through all the steps with me to still find out the washer will not start. I was told to call for service. This is not covered by LG. When researching on the internet about this problem I discovered this has been an ongoing issue with many of the LG washers. The part for the repair is very expensive and you have to pay for the initial service call then the parts labor. Most people opt to purchase a new washer after calculating how much the repair will cost. I am so disappointed with LG. They are very aware this is a problem and basically choose to do nothing especially for the consumer. I even purchased the matching LG dryer even though my dryer was working fine. As a company I feel LG should repair the washers at no cost to the consumer since they know this is a problem. I will NEVER purchase another LG product again.

I got this a year and a half ago. Had minor issues that was easily solved. Washed clothes good then during one load it just stopped and the display didnt have an error code. It just read 34. I tried resetting it unplugged it and different cycles. All it will do is lock the door. The display will allow me to navigate through it but will not do anything else. I tried to load the app to get any error codes and it couldnt find the device when I scanned it so tried manually and couldnt get the Wi-Fi. Had service look at it and he ended up calling LG. They told him it was probably the main board. He quoted me an expensive estimate and told me I should contact LG. I ended going shopping for another washer. I should have gotten the extended warranty thinking this washer was going to last a lot longer than it did. Having only lasting this short of time is unacceptable and will be having reservations about LG in it future. Hopefully you dont have to deal with this issue

This washer was a LEMON

This washer worker for four months then broke down. We got it repaired. Worked for three weeks. Then broke again. We spent the next year trying to get it fixed or get a refund. Finally I emailed the VP of customer relations and eventually got a refund.

Brown flakes left on clothes: Purchased 1/2020

Purchased 1/2020. Had to get used to the low water after having had an agitator. But since July Ive had brown flakes left on towels and clothes. We purchased the insurance. Have had the same guy out twice to look. He took out the bottom part cleaned it also cleaning the dispensers. Had him return again this week because its happening again. He called LG and they said he could not remove the drum. Told us to get Whirl-Out....a spa cleaner to run it through the machine to maybe clean out stuff in t he lines. This is frustrating. I took pic of the flakes with my phone if anyone would care to see them.
